Kebumen, August 12, 2024 – The new school year 2024/2025 has started. All extracurricular activities and communities at SMKN 1 Kebumen have opened registration for new students. All extracurricular activities, both compulsory and voluntary, have had their first meeting, and the Smensa English Club is no exception. Smensa English Club held its first meeting of the 2024/2025 academic year on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 14.30 WIB. This first meeting was attended by new students and board members along with all Smensa English Club coaches.
The event was opened by the activities division, continued with the introduction of the board members. The next activity is playing games to find friends and ‘jump-jump’. This game activity aims to make all new members of Smensa English Club can easily recognize and mingle with other new members. The hope is all new members of Smensa English Club can continue to work together and help each other in the next activity.
The event continued with introductions from the SEC coaches. No less exciting, each SEC coach had a unique way of introducing themselves as well as motivating the new members to improve their English skills. For example, during Mr. Kim’s introduction, he told a unique story and managed to draw the attention of the new SEC members. But it didn’t stop there, the event continued with the distribution of prizes for game winners and stickers to welcome the new members. With the extracurricular activities that have begun, it is hoped that all new members of Smensa English Club can take advantage of this opportunity to be able to develop their English abilities.
